  • Ferrell - A Frank Description of the Great Divide in this country ... UnfortunatelyI have four books by this author. They make it plain that the dialogue between them and us is virtually impossible. It's very sad. I don't believe we will ever be able to understand each other. The country's only hope now lies in a clear majority in the house and senate for the Republican party. At least for a few years. The damage done over the past 70 years is going to be very difficult to repair. Only middle America can hope to save us all from those of us on both coasts.

Every conservative needs to read all four of her books. Liberals don't need to read anything besides the New York Times ... an opinion rag that dares to call itself a "news"paper. They need to dispense with their misnomer of a masthead slogan ... "All the news that's fit to print" (I believe they DID!) ... and replace it with a more appropriate one: "When the facts do not conform to the theory, they must be disposed of."

Rather than present a substantive arguement, the liberal will simply say that these books are "Stupid". I consider that high praise indeed ... coming from a liberal.
  • Barb E. Dahl - Empower yourselfThis book was first written spanish for a the rural mexican people. For that village that was miles away from the nearest doctor or medical facility. In this version it has been written in english. It gives the reader a basic understanding of the human body and the common ailements. Most of the time the treatments are basic, but their is also an entire section on medication and dosages. Now I do not live in a rural village, but I did find it very empowering to read this book. It is definately something that will go into the emergency bag.
