  • achilles last stand - The most succesful floyd albumThe wall is the finest cd in my collection. No album will sell over 23 million copies unless it is good so a lot of people know about this album's worth.Very few bands can create such magic as floyd with masterpieces as Comfortably numb which is my favourite songs.Buy this with Gilmour's latest album.
  • Stephanie Sullivan - A good desktop referenceWindows Server 2012 Inside Out covers just about every topic about Windows Server 2012. The book is the very comprehensive. With this it is also a MASSIVE physical book. The literal size and weight of the book is a great argument for the Kindle version. The kindle version is also less expensive. When the book weighs more than your laptop or tablet it's time to go kindle!

I could end almost this review by saying William R. Stanek. I have been a fan of his windows books for years and his authorship alone speaks to the quality of information within the book and its useful organization.

This is a reference, not a "learn visually" or really a beginners book at all. It has everything needed to get someone with windows workstation experience up to speed on Server 2012 or help someone who has worked with an older version of Windows Server like me. The Stanek books on Windows Server have been very helpful for me when I go outside the subset of server management in my comfort zone or things I do on a regular basis. It's a great reference for those tasks that fall off my skill set without frequent use.

For people moving from older versions of Windows Server, you get coverage of hyperv and new features with Server 2012.

With any book there will be things where more information might be needed or some specialized situations that are not covered. Such is the case even in a huge work like this one. By the time I'm in that far out in the weeds I'm searching Microsoft support and Microsoft Technet to get those details.

As with all the inside out books the printing and binding are fine quality. The tactile nature of the paper is a pleasure. The illustration and screen grabs are all B&W/grayscale which is appropriate for this type of book. The weight of the book means I want to read it at a desk, not sitting on the Sofa. It's just too heavy! Like I said at the beginning, I think that is the best argument to get the Kindle version.
  • Max Pax "MP" - You don't need techno to dance on......if you got this album. 'Safe From Harm', 'Be Thankful For What You've Got', but especially 'Unfinished Sympathy' makes you feel like dancing. When I heard 'Unfinished Sympathy' for the first time is immediately started dancing (and I almost never dance, so that means alot). Although my favourite is 'Safe From Harm' because it has these very good lyrics and you almost start crying when you hear it. This is actually a mix of different genres, 'Blue Lines' is jazzy, 'Hymn Of The Big Wheel' is more like poppy, 'Five Man Army' (featuring Tricky) is more dub, hip hop. The rest of the track I haven't named yet I consider as chill out-tracks, because I can't really put a label on it. Just buy it and see for yourself, this is a must-have for all decent music-lovers. You won't regret it..
  • Jennifer A. Janes - Get ready to be Radical: read this book!Radical by David Platt takes a look at how Jesus lived and how he taught his inner circle to live. Then it applies that to how we, as Twenty-First Century Christians should live. Platt points out the ways we have left out entire sections of the Gospel until the "gospel" we're living bears very little resemblance to the life Jesus taught His followers to live. He also challenges readers to take Jesus' words to heart and obey Jesus' teachings!

If you want to keep your life as is, don't read this book. Radical has turned my life upside down as surely as that little picture of a house on the front cover. I have changed the way I view myself and the world around me as a result of reading Radical. What's more, my children and husband are re-evaluating the way they look at life and God's purpose for them because of the changes they see taking place in me.

This book should be on every believer's bookshelf. It is humbling to see how far I had strayed from Jesus' teaching, but I am experiencing more peace and freedom since I started taking His words to heart and being obedient to His Word. I can't wait to see how God is going to work in my family, my community, and the world through this book. And the wonderful thing is . . . all Radical does is point you back to the Bible to take a hard look at what it really says!

NOTE: I received a free copy of Radical from Multnomah Books for review purposes. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.
